In the 1920's, Nickolas Haring apprenticed with a jeweler in Mansfield, and later attended Bradley University School of Watchmaking. With his knowledge of watch repair, clock repair, and hand-engraving, Nicholas opened up his first store front in 1929. In 1958, his son, Ken Haring, joined in the business.

In 1980, a third generation stepped in, and Jeff, the current owner, is enjoying doing business and working hard to keep the store’s reputation as "Harings.....simply the finest."

Cincinnati Plating and Repair Company, one of America's oldest and most respected silver restoration companies, is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Company opened for business in 1925 and continues to operate out of its original location 79 years later. All work is done on the premises by master craftsmen.

Their goal is to return your sterling and sliver plated treasures beautifully restored. Cincinnati Plating will repair your treasured items and then refinish or re-plating as appropriate.

Step 1: Bring your items to the above store location.

Step 2: Your item(s) will be examined by a knowledgeable store representative and you will be given an estimate for the cost of restoration.

Step 3: If the price is acceptable, your items will be expertly packaged and forwarded to the Cincinnati Restoration facility.

Step 4: Once the restoration is complete, the items will be packaged by our shipping department and returned to the address of your choice.
